QUADRAPHONIC

Four sides. One core. Everyone shoots inward.

QUADRAPHONIC on a wide screen: four decks on the four edges of a square arena, a brick core in the middle with steel and crystal blocks, spread shots and a drop in flight

About

QUADRAPHONIC puts four decks on the four edges of one arena and a four-way symmetric core in the middle. Every seat sees exactly the same picture from its own side. Level one is a wall of bricks, steel and crystal; from level two a portal opens at the centre and sends drones, divers and tanks outward at whichever side it likes; every fifth level the Monolith takes the centre with a face for each player. Crystals drop power-ups that drift back to whoever broke them. In versus modes the core is a shield until half of it is gone, then every shot that crosses the table counts. Online tables run on a first-party relay with a four-letter code; empty seats become bots and a dropped player's seat keeps playing on autopilot. Link a Robinhood Chain wallet and every CCFF00 token you hold is an extra life, up to five -- the game only reads the chain, never writes to it. 16-bit palette, CRT scanlines, a 5×7 bitmap font drawn in code and a chiptune sequencer that speeds up with the level. Nothing is for sale.

Features

  • Four-sided arena: your deck is always at the bottom of your own view, opponents play across and to the sides
  • Modes: 1P solo, 2P local (one keyboard), online 2P co-op, 2P versus, 4P teams and 4P free-for-all
  • Online tables with a four-letter code or Find a table; empty seats become bots at three difficulties
  • Levels: four-fold symmetric cores, the portal from level two, the Monolith boss every fifth level
  • Power-ups: spread, rapid, wide, shield, magnet and a rare 1UP, drifting back to whoever earned them
  • Robinhood Chain wallet: one extra life per CCFF00 held, up to five; read-only, nothing is ever sent to chain
  • 16-bit palette, CRT overlay, bitmap font and synthesized sound; all motion honours reduced-motion

AI & content disclosure

  • The code was written with Claude (Anthropic) and reviewed by a human before release.
  • All art is drawn at runtime from a 24-colour palette and a bitmap font in code; all audio is synthesized. No generated images, meshes, audio or text ship with the game.
  • The game reads a wallet's CCFF00 balance on Robinhood Chain (chain 4663). It never requests a transaction, never writes to chain and sells nothing.
  • Online play sends your nickname, your inputs and, if you linked one, your wallet address to the relay. Nothing is stored after the table closes.
